Concrete Superintendent/ Field Manager

Texas Concrete Placement, Inc has an opening for an experienced and seasoned Concrete Superintendent Field Manager. In this position you will be responsible for the management and scheduling of multiple residential and light commercial projects located in and around the greater Houston area. Applicants must have either 3 years home building experience or at least 2 years experience in the following types of foundation systems: post tension, conventional, and pier and beam foundations, as well as paving and flat work.  Experience in Houston and the surrounding area is a plus. Applicants must also have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Applicants must be able to read plans/blue prints and fully understand, interpret, and communicate the details both with written and verbal accuracy.

In this position you will be expected to:

*Be on time

*Comply with company safety standards and enforce those on the jobsite

 Other considerations to the position:

*Must be able to prove knowledge of reading blue prints and details within the interview

*Bilingual is not necessary, but some understanding of Spanish is a plus

*Must have knowledge of basic office software programs – knowledge of Builder Trend and/or Plan Swift software a plus

*Must have reliable transportation in the form of a pick-up truck, a clean driving record, and no criminal history (This position require extensive daily travel throughout the greater Houston region while managing multiple jobsites and projects.)

*Must be skilled at pulling a 16’ flat-bed trailer with truck on occasion

*Must be able to provide references

*Must have at least a high school diploma or GED, college is preferred, but not mandatory

*Must be in good physical condition

*Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

This work environment will expose you to outside weather conditions, including wet, cold, hot, muddy, and/or humid conditions.  The noise level can, at times, be loud.
